The Jo March dress has a square neckline, low scoop back, side seam pockets, a super gathered skirt, wide hem, tiny bust pleats & a sewn-in lining skirt with tulle petticoat. Fully lined.

This piece is midi in length & the tulle petticoat extends past the length of the hem so you can see it a little! The volume makes this piece delightful to wear, it makes me feel like one of the March sisters, walking joyously arm in arm down the street of their town. There is plenty of room in the arms to layer it over your favourite t-shirts & turtlenecks.

Intricate patch-working throughout, using secondhand materials, scraps and offcuts. Sequins, satins, polyster, cotton, crepe & other various materials used in patch-working. Tulle was purchased new for this project.

All fabric prewashed. Please note as fabric is secondhand there may be slight imperfection in the fabric, although I always try ensure it is in great quality.
